SoCalGas Service Restoration in Malibu SoCalGas will begin to restore natural gas service for customers unaffected by the fire beyond Pepperdine University. Crews will be working in the area to restore services safely and efficiently. Please expect an increased presence of SoCalGas and mutual aid teams in your neighborhood over the coming weeks. For your safety: Only authorized technicians can restore service. SoCalGas employees carry official photo ID and will not request payments. Restoration requires access to meters and may cause a temporary natural gas odor, which poses no public safety risk. For assistance, visit the Pavilions booth at 29211 Heathercliff Rd., in Malibu or call 1-800-427-2200. Your safety remains my top priority. As high winds continue to impact our community through Wednesday, it is important to sign up for emergency alerts. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions or need assistance. Sincerely, Jacqui Irwin Assemblymember, 42nd District
