Dear Community:
On behalf of the Palisair HOA, we write to express our thoughts and prayers for those who have lost everything in the Palisades Fire. What may well be the majority of our 144 homes are lost or damaged in the fires, and those that remain are still at risk.
Our board met today in emergency executive session. During the meeting, we established a plan to communicate with all the community with respect to the resources that are available now, and to develop a communications channel to share information as we learn it. For those who need emergency supplies of clothes, we will work with organizations to make those available to you.
We are 144 members strong but we have different needs depending upon whether we lost most or everything or have homes to which we can return. To benefit each of you, we are working on plans to take collective action to secure and remediate properties, to develop an insurance recovery strategy, and (eventually) to expedite rebuilding efforts, taking full advantage of the association’s collective buying power to get us to the front of line when rebuilding begins.
On behalf of the Board, please know that we have your backs. Please join with us as we meet Monday and again weekly or as needed to hear from you, and to provide support in this time of need. PMP Management will be sending out an agenda shortly, as well as sending informational resources.
Sincerely,
Richard Gottlieb
President
